Really trying for a milestone by Aug 31!
I am really trying to hit a personal goal by the end of the month - I'm so close! If I can lose 6 lbs by the end August I'll have fewer than 100 lbs to lose to reach my goal. It's been SO long since I had LESS then 100 lbs to lose - it will feel really good!
I have my first fill on Monday so hopefully that will help. Just had to post it - makes me more committed to doing it!

Protein ,Protein,Protein.....
You more than likely know that...but always good to remind. Keep your water up,keep serious check of your food.
Also it's not an unreasonable goal but you won't be unsuccessful if it takes you 3 or 4 weeks instead of 2 weeks. Good going-I look forward to when I can have the same goal.

Thanks for the encouragement! I don't want to get too excited but I weighed today and I think I'm down 2 more lbs. If so I am going to be really excited. But I have the dr appt on Monday so I'll use the "official" weight then.
I am all about protein and fluids right now. And veggies - trying to get a little more fiber into my system lately and I think that's what really got me going in the past few weeks.
I wish you the best, too - it feels good to hit these mini-goals!

That's great! I can't wait for my first fill just so I can check my "official" weight, too. I've only weighed myself once since surgery, but something told me that my scales just weren't in sync with my doctor's. I really hope that you make your goal. Something like that would be a great motivator for you in your next stage, I'm sure!
I'm there with you! I'm really trying hard to make my goal of 30lbs by Oct which means I should hopefully loose a bit more this month to make it. We can do this! I don't loose a very consistent amount each day/week but as long as it keeps coming off and I can have a average amount of weight loss around 3lbs a week I'm happy!
I hope we both make our goals! I'm about 2 lbs away now - need to update my ticker. I don't know if I can do it by Monday but I'm going to try! I've been at or around the same weight for 2 weeks - it's time to make it happen. Your 3 lbs a week sounds wonderful - excellent!!! Keep going - you'll hit that goal!
