I don't know if this is "normal" but I would love to have been able to lose 46 lbs in 6 months.  Hoping to be banded soon.  In pre-op appt. stage.  I will be following you.

REALIZE Band on 05/04/09 with
You are averaging between 1.5 and 2 pounds per week.  That seems pretty good.  Some lose more and some lose less, but your loss is definately healthy and normal.  Congrats.

It sounds like you are perfectly 'average' -- losing between 1 and 2 pounds per week.
If this keeps up , you will have lost over 90 pounds in a year.

I don't know your age or where you are in relation to your goal, but it sounds like you are doing very well.

How do you feel?  Are you happy with  your energy level and hunger level?  If so, I woudl say that you are very much a SUCCESS Story!!!

46lbs in 6 months is great progress. I'm a week away from 4 months post op and I've lost 42. My doc says that's extremely fast for a realize band but I have really been right down the line with my diet. On top of that I have really taken to the cardio which has made a huge difference. I basically went from a weekly workout regimen that included lifting heavy weights to now lifting lighter weights and extensive cardio. Hooray for bands!

Congrats on 46. Imagine the smile on your face when you double that. :)
