Gummy Vitamins

Hi, has anyone tried the gummy vitamins? I found some Vita Fusion multi-vitamin gummies and calcium gummie...but I wasn't sure if they are really all the great for me? My doctor said to use FlintStone chewables if I couldn't stand the bariatric vitamins...so I was thinking maybe the gummies might suffice.

 Thanks for any info!

I haven't tried the Gummies but I use Viactiv chocolate cherry chewables and my NUT said that was fine.  It's like a little piece of chocolate twice a day :)

Personally I can't stand flintstones, I hadn't had one in years until i stole one of my nephew's.  It was so gross I split it out and scraped it off my tongue.

really, that's funny :) I figured that Flintstones would actually be yummy!  I hadn't thought about Viactiv, thanks!

Check the label of the ones you want to buy.  I have some here for the kids and they aren't near the daily requirements that you get with the flintstones type chewable.

If you live near a Wal-Mart, they have their own brand of Viactiv called Spring Valley. At my local Wal-Mart, the Spring Valley chewables come in chocolate or caramel. I bought the caramel ones and they're great. They're also much cheaper than the Viactiv chews.

I use the Flinstone's gummy vitamins and love them.  The only thing is you have to take 4 a day.  I think they are great and a lot better than the bariatric vitamins I just could not chew those!!!!

Caution about Gummies... they take a very long time to move thru if you dont chew chew chew them to little pieces.    If you have good restriction it could sit in your pouch for a very long time as it takes a long time to disolve.  My trick was put it in a little water with lemon and watch how long it took to disolve.  It didnt go fast thats for sure.  I take the Optisource from walgreens  they are orange flavor and are really yummy...  I get all my calcium a day and my vitamins.  Less i have to take is better for me.
A better day is a smile away
