my first post opt visit

hello all went to the doc today for my first post-opt visit..it has been 6days since surgery..i have lost 10lbs yippie.. no wonder since i cant eat anything..i was scolded for my lack of protein intake..i am trying..i just truly cant get much down..i guess i am one of those ones who has restriction before the fill..well we will see if that last...i feel pretty good and will continue to work on getting enough protein..just thought i would share..thanks..

Congrats on your 10lbs gone forever!  That feels good doesn't it?! 

I couldn't eat a lot post-op either when I was on full liquids.  Wasn't hungry and had to really make myself drink my protein shakes.  I didn't start hitting 60g protein minimum everyday until I got to mushies.  Now it's easy.  But I'm still never too hungry.  Hope you have the same good fortune - I'm thankful!  Just try to add the protein anyplace you can!

thank you..they really were freaking out on me for not getting protein..but my god i just cant seem to. i still have 3more weeks of liquids so we will see. thank you....
