So I totally agree with this article.    Working out does make you hungrier and causes you to eat more.   I don't know about you, but I've never read anything  or seen any clinical studies that show that exercise helps curb hunger pangs!   

The "Mcdonalds after the gym" is not an anecdote, people really do that.  It sounds crazy but when your hungry you minds does all types of crazy things to rationalize bad decisions.  Not to mention our fast food nation makes it such an easy choice.  No kidding - near my house there is this tiny strip mall with only two businesses in it - One is a Curves, and the other is a donut shop! 

This is why you need to be strong on both fronts, food and exercise.  It's also why the band is a great tool because it limits what you can eat (as long as you don't go for the milkshakes or other cheatin' foods)
