Hello, i got a fill on thurs of 1cc's and that put me at 7cc's. I'm having pain in the middle of my chest even when i drink water. I haven't eaten in 5 days because i tried liquid soup and i threw it up, then i tried grits, brought that up. I am miserable, hungry and thirsty. I believe my band is to tight. I was wondering has anyone else experience this. It's feels like gas pockets in my chest, i'm up all night, my husband said he hears girgling noises and i get up and spit. Can someone give me a little insight. It is greatly appreciated.

You do sound like you are too tight.  I would call the doctor and maybe get a little taken out.  I was like that once.  I was constantly spitting and I couldnt eat.  I believe the doctor took out 1/2 cc and I felt a world of difference.

Let us know how you are feeling.

that sounds like what my doctor said 'too tight' is.

I have been reading these boards for a while now, and the thing I am most afraid of is being too tight -- it leads to band slips and it leads to bad eating habits.

If you cannot eat, you are miserable, hungry and thirsty, you need to get back to the doctor's office or the Energency Room.

You went to great expense (or your insurance company did) and trouble to get your band -- please, please do not risk it by being too tight --- call your doctor and get it adjusted so it can work for you.
