Met with Dr. Snyder, the surgeon today!!

Hello All!

WELL! I had my appointment with Dr. Snyder today here in Denver and it went
really well!! I had all my consults finished and he had all that info in my file.

Thing is, my insurance DOES need the 6 month DR. supervised DIET deal.  WELL! I have been going to my Dr. (the NP, whom I love!) EVERY MONTH since Jan..I think I may have missed March....but I have been seeing her like clockwork every month and the insurance gal at the office said that that would be enough to send to the insurance co.  I am seeing my NP on Friday, so I will ask her then to make a copy of my records from Jan 09 - Present and write a letter of medical necessity as well.  I will even PAY her for this.  Yes, I want the BAND!! 

So that is where I am at! I need my NP to send that info to the doc and then we will go for approval.  AND!! I was UP 3 POUNDS Since I saw my NP June 10th.

JAYSIS!  But, I am also being told I am 5'7, not 5'6, not 5'5.  5'7. WOW!  

BUT I GAINED 3 POUNDS!! I have been drinking TONS of water, over 64 OZ a day. 

I guess I shouldn't have eaten some sherbet! BUT I had the serving size!  THAT'S IT!  AND journey continues!!  I am still very excited and can't wait to get banded!

Sounds like things are going well, congrats! As for the 3lbs... if you've been drinking that much water, part of it could just be water weight. :)

Funny... for the longest time my doctor told me I was 4'11-1/2....... but now that I've lost a few pounds and have started going to a chiropractor, I'm closer to 5'1. Let me tell you.... made my day for a week! I'll take every inch I can get!!! lol :)
