Surgery and doing well!

Hello all! I have had my surgery and I am doing well. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. I am a little sore but besides that all is well. I was in surgery a total of 45 min. I should be going home today. The only thing is that I have had nothing to eat or dink becase I have to have a swalllow test. Thanks to TOPAZ11, for the flowers and coming to see me... it really meant a lot. I will keep all posted on future success

Congratulations! Glad you are doing well. Get your walking in...its never too soon to get that going! Have a wonderful recovery!

So funny, I had to BEG to walk at the hospital!  I didnt get to walk til over 12 hours post op...which I found strange after everything I had read but after the first walk I had to go to the bathroom frequently enough I was up about every hour.   

Glad to hear you are doing well, How long do they keep you in the hospital? I was told that I had to stay 24 hours for insurance purposes.

Glad to hear you feeling fine, keep your gas-x close by your gonna need it and like the other ladies said walk as much as you can.

I am really glad to hear you are doing good. This is the best surgery I ever had just for me. It was a little painful with the gas but it was not a major problem just keep walking around your house try not to lay down too much because the gas will drive you a little crazy. If you need anything I am here just let me know.
