Any info on getting your 1st fill?

Everything will be fine. Don't stress out about the fill. I would advise to NOT look at the needle though. But it does not hurt.

It was REALLY easy. This is how mine works:

They give you a small shot to numb you. It feels like a pinch. That is the worst part of the whole thing...and its just a small pinch!

Then they press around and find the port....insert the needle and add the saline. I think my entire first fill took about 60 seconds!

Its really not bad at all!

I was very nervous my first fill ...but my doctor was awsome... she didn't numb it or anything... she pushed around and felt for the port then stuck the needle in and filled it up :) it was over in a matter of 1 to 2 mins... i sat up and drink some water and was on my way :) i hope it went ok... :)
