Glad everything went so smooth...my surgery is tomorrow I have been told I will stay over night?! I need a small hernia repaired as well! Hope to keep chatting with you thru this experience...congrats...and see you on the "bench" soon.

I hope you have as easy a time as I did.
A pillow to hold to your tummy on the ride home (and something from home!) will come in handy.
I also wore sweats and my birkenstock sandals, so I could just slide them on -- but I brought a pair of socks because my feet are always cold.
