Am I messed up? or Have I messed up?
This is like my 4th or 5th fill and I now have 6.5 ccs in my band but I still dont have any restriction. I purposely stop eating after it looks like I have eaten too much but I can still swallow with no problems. Do you have to cut your food into tiny, tiny bites like the size of the eraser? Well I don't and I dont know if something is wrong. What does restriction actually feel like seriously? Also, I was loosing very good especially right after a fill but since the last two fills, I have not lost much of anything if any. I am bouncing up and down. Please help me somebody? 6.5 in a 9 cc band and no restriction yet? What is wrong?

I didn't start getting restriction till I hit 8 ccs. Everyone's different, some of us just need more. I was able to eat without much difficulty till I got better restriction, now I need to be careful with my meats and even firm fish. But most everything goes down pretty well. Be patient, it will come. The last .5 makes a whole lot more difference than the first .5!!

hi there, you want your food to be fairly small but not that small. just be sure you chew your food completly,20 chews per piece about. Dont eat fast, the food will get stuck if you eat to fast. as far as your fill ,everybody is different. Ive been at 4 ccs for about 3 months and it is plenty tight. Restriction feels like the food is backing up in your throat, you will definatly know when you reach your sweet spot. At 6.5 ccs you are probably close to your sweet spot. each day i keep my calories between 1000 and 1200 cals per day. you cant rely on the band for losing weight totally, you must keep calories at a minimum and exercise daily, and make healthy food choices. If you do this the weight should melt off. Ive lost 80 lbs. in 6 months by doing this. Anyway good luck and keep your chin up.
