3 1/2 months post op and 60 lbs down!

My first fill was 8cc in a 11cc band.  I hope after that I will not need many more. That was aggressive.  I lost about 18# initially post op and than nothing for 2 months.  I did not gain and I just told myself to be patient.  After the fill I feel that I am on the weight loss road again.  What a difference a restriction makes!   I have heard some people say that their first restriction did not last very long.  I let you know how this one lasts.  Those 2 months gave me some time to focus on better eating habits.  I expect to lose slowly but fairly steady but there will be plateau times as well.  Just need to get the job done not fast!

That is excellent! 60 pounds! I haven't lost that yet and I'm 8 months post op. I'm doing well for my weight though. I barely weigh 200 now and wouldn't want to start rapidly dropping weight as my body is adjusting nicely and I didn't have too much to lose in the first place.
