Wicked hiccups..

When I swallow too fast or suddenly gasp cuz my granddaughter is doing something she shouldn't be, I get the most wicked hiccups.  Does this happen to anyone else? I am trying hard to eat slowly and chew completely, but sometimes it seems I am not chewing enough.  Any advice?

Hey, this happened to me for about 2 weeks after surgery. I still get them every now and then if I do eat too fast or swallow too much. Keep in mind that you are only a couple weeks out so you may be still experiencing these hiccups from the gas from the surgery.  I wouldn't worry about it unless you experiencing intense pain. I hope this helps. Congrats on the surgery!!!

I used to get them a lot but now I only get them if I eat too fast or if I'm getting full (soft stop) They could be from your surgery still, she's right and your stomach is still adjusting to having something around it and air flow is kinda weird for a while. Hope this helps :)
