4th fill and still hungry
I just had my 4th fill and I'm still hungry between meals. One of my problems is that I'm too hungry to stay on the stupid clear liquid diet for 3 days. Should I be able to and not be hungry? I had the fill on monday and have cheated with small solids a few times. Does this have anything to do with it? I just don't feel any different and am always hungry. I'm getting discouraged.
I'm right there with you so don't be discouraged. I had my 4th fill and will have my 5th on the 11th of next month. I have 6 cc's in my 9 cc band and I have very little restriction. My doctor told someone else that w/ the realize band it can take a little longer to feel restriction but we will get there! Don't worry! Just keep sticking to the plan and giving 110%! I was pretty upset for a while after I figured out that the realize band was promoted as a "lighter, more softer" restriction tool. I wanted something a little more drastic but I'm not going through surgery again to have it removed so we will deal. As my 4-year-old says, "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit." She's pretty smart : ) Good luck!

Hi, I was banded on Aug. 28th. I have lost to date 25 lbs, but I have gained some back. I started at 275, and I am not 258; so I have a total of 17lbs. I have only had 3 fills..... my doctor has a strict schedule. 1st fill at 6 weeks; 2nd fill 90 days after surgery; and each one 6-8 weeks in between. I am now due for my 4th fill. I have not had restriction at all, and I have 7cc's. I am scared that I will get to the maximum fill the band can hold and don't feel any restriction at all. I am going to ask my doctor if that is possible. Good luck to you!
