Surgery date is March 6th - YIKES!

Got my date today.  Just 2 weeks from Friday.  I'm still attempting to get approval for the VSG, but going ahead with the band if that doesn't come through before then.  Because of my high BMI (60+) the band will take me forever, but I didn't get huge overnight, so I dont' expect to lose it overnight either.

Now, let's just hope they don't kill the fat guy.

Good luck! It's scary but it will make a huge difference in your life. Let me know if you have any questions. I was banded 5 months ago and now have almost 6cc's in my 9cc band. I don't have any restriction yet but I keep hoping the next fill, my 5th, will do it for me. Come on sweet spot!!!


 

My nerves are definitely getting to me a bit.  Then my brother tells me that the brother of a co-worker had a heart attack from a blood clot the night after his band surgery last week and died.  Great.  Thanks for that bit of support bro.
