Is it normal for the surgeon to let you go a month between fills in the beginning ? I have not lost much weight and do not feel any restriction and I have had my first fill already.

I guess it is normal, I got my first fill 2 months after surgery and he said he will fill it again 6 weeks, so he told me every 6 weeks. I had 4 cc's put in and still have no restriction. Alot of people say around your 3rd or 4th fill you should start to fill restriction. I can't wait, I lost 23 lbs gain 7lbs and then lost 7lbs after I got my fill. Hopefully I was helpful. God Bless

You are so pretty.  You remind me so much of myself.lol I just got banded on Jan.8th.  I am doing fine, however I am going up and down,. I can not get my first fill until march 11.  I am concerned about getting stuck and pb.  How has that been for you?

We had our surgeries the same day! Yes, it seems to be normal for 4 -6 weeks between fills. My first fill was 1-13(4cc) and I don't go back for another for 5 weeks. It could have been sooner but my doc will be on vacation. I don't feel a lot of restriction, but I am losing weight due to sticking to the band rules and really eating less. I don't have any red meat, white flour, bread or sugar and that has made a huge difference. Also, eating more fish seems to work in losing weight and it is such a band friendly food. Hope this helps! Good luck!
