sore pain on right side

My surgery was January 7th. Yesterday I went out with my mother. Because the weather was cold I did not have any pants with rubber in the waist. I put on some jeans. I left the open and folded them down. When I got home last night I was so sore. I'm not sure if it was were I have been in those pants for a few hours. I'm worried. I do not want the port to have slipped out of position. If anyone has a answer please let me know. Thanks!

I hope you are doing better by now.  If not, I do hope you will call the hospital and ask to speak to either your surgeon or another bariatric surgeon to reassure you.

Do you know where your port is??   It shouldnt be anywhere near where your pants are. It is probable the jeans pushing in on the muscles in your stomach.

We have office staff that have a pager that can answer these kinds of questions. Please call the doctors office tomorrow.
