I am not sure how you can tell about a stretch pouch but I have also heard about the 5day pouch test. I know exactly how you fell I had only one fill and now I am waiting for them to call me to make a appt for the next. But don't get discourage because my mother-in-law was here for Christmas for two weeks and listen to her to try to try different foods and just tasting and eating I gain 2lbs. I don't sound like alot but it ca be very stressful knowing that you are trying to achieve a goal. But for me after she left I detox my body with magnesium sulfate and started over. She just left last week and I already have loss 8lbs. But also it was hard to let go alot of my food choice especially pork(eats it seldom) but I don't allow my self to eat bread. I do not drink any sodas, I really decrease my salt intake(which was very hard), and I walk 3miles a day for 5days. If over eat sometimes I can feel my pouch having a pain(if that makes any sense). But again don't get discourage and call your doctor to see if you can have an fluoroscopy done to check your pouch.

Are you sticking with more protein foods than anything else.. and getting your fluids in every day?  I've been losing extremely slow.. and so my cousin has been a huge help in helping me finds ways to overcome this plateau.. this is what I'm going to try.  Maybe it would help you too!

Curious... can anyone elaborate on the 5 day test?

I'm in the same boat...I've had 3 fills so far, and still I don't feel the restriction I would like.  I initially lost 10 lbs, then 2 more, then gained 3 back.  It is discouraging.  There is no support group or anyone to discuss this with, so I appreciate this site and what you wrote.  I don't feel so alone now!  Good luck to you!

I have lost then I gained a pound over the holidays and felt bad But i have to say I did it to myself
I ate things I shouldnt have thinking it wouldnt hurt but it did ... Just got to be carefull and eat soups i find them filling and not tomany calories if you dont eat the creamy ones .. or water them down a bit more than usual .. that might help ... when your protien shakes wear thin ...

I know what most of you are talking about. After three fills I wae unhappy. I had my surgery in March, didn't have my first fill untill the end of April, my second fill in June, and my third fill in August. I was up to 7 cc, had a little restriction and lost 42 pounds. My insurance refused to give me another fill. They stated that they only allow one after surgery for free, and two a year. So I had to wait until January for my next fill. From Sept-Dec I gained and lost 5 pounds, up and down. I felt discouraged. When I went to my doctor I told him to give me a big enough fill to feel restriction, I'd rather come back to get some out for free. He put in 1 cc. now i am at 8cc, and I have restriction. It is wonderful. I have lost 5 pounds in a week by keeping my calories under 1500, high protein, and I exercise every day at my local gym. I feel much better. Just give it some time. The realize band holds 9 cc, and it took me 8 cc to have good restriction.  I sure I would have lost more weight by now it is just my insurance company refused to give me another fill until the new year. Good luck and don't give up, I've been there trust me I feel you.

I have also started working out 3 times a week.  I hope that will help once i get the restriction that i need.  its just real discouraging to know i paid for this surgery and i can't get any justice from it, maybe i should have went with the lapband instead, they all seem to lose the weight rather quickly than people with the realize band.  After your fills and you get the restriction do you tend to eat more frequently than normal due to the small amounts you are able to eat?
