Support group: It is the third Monday night of each month at the Univ. of IL College of Medicine, 1601 Parkview, Rockford in room S-232. The guard at the door will tell you where the room is. All of us have different docs and different surgeries. We are different ages, but we all support one another. Most of us are on the IL board here, but a few are not. Some bring family with and some don't.

If you come up 39, get off on bypass 20 going west toward Freeport. The first exit is Alpine. Go north on Alpine through several intersections. You will eventually get to State Street. Cross State Street and continue north on Alpine to Spring Creek (major intersection). Turn left on Spring Creek. You will come to two stop lights about 300 ft apart. Turn left at the second one which is Parkview. Left is the only way you can turn there. The med school is about two blocks on the left. There is a big aqua sign at the entrance. Turn left into the entrance, follow the road to the right and up to the top of the hill. The entrance has three flag poles. This used to be a TB sanitarium and it looks more like a park than a college.
