Weight Loss Lapband vs. Realize Band????

Is there a difference in how fast you lose with each band or is it basically the individual person??????  I'm still trying to decide which one.  I've noticed alot of people with the realize seem to of dropped more weight quicker than the lap band so I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with the band or just the individual themselves.  Thanks, Kerry

I wouldn't think that it would make a difference.  I am pretty sure it is an individual thing....maybe someone else will chime in here with more information...

I didn't even know I got the Realize until after my surgery.  I think they are very similar. 

  I read on another forum that a Lap band has some fill in it at the time of surgery so I would probably guess you would lose faster at first with the lap band. Knowing this I still choose the Realize because I read that there are less intolerance to food with the Realize band. I have been able to eat anything so far.
