Hi,
I am new to this forum but I read the posts when I can. I have a question.
I had the band on 9-5 and have had my first fill two weeks ago. I was doing pretty good but I have difficulties not eating at night. We have to have an early dinner due to my husbands work hours, so we eat dinner around 5ish and I don't go to bed till around 11. By 9 I am hungry again, not head hunger but belly growling hungry. What do you all do to deal with this? I feel bad eating so late but I am too hungry to just ignore it. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sherry

A snack when you are actually hungry shouldnt be a problem. Just work it in to you daily plan, you might need to adjust some earlier in the day to keep your calories in check, but it can be done.
Late at night you want to make sure its not something real sugary, high cal, or loaded in carbs, but something pretty high in protein. Yogurt, maybe some string cheese, something light that wont sit in your pouch like a rock. My guide actually has a snack scheduled between dinner and bed. If we eat dinner real earlier it might be something fairly substantial like a banana, if we eat dinner late I will usually skip it or do something really small, a couple of grapes or maybe some raisins or even just a small glass of milk.
