How long have you had your band?

Hello Everyone.

I really need some help with one question I am having trouble finding the answer to. I am considering having gastric banding but was wondering......

If anyone on the board has been banded 5+ years or more.

My major fear with the surgury is with having band problems over the long term.....ie leak in the band/malfunction.

So I would love to hear from any expericanced bansters......

And if there are no 5+ year bandsters on here does anyone know where I could find that info....

GO ON THE LAP BAND FORUM AND ASK THIS ? THERE ARE MANY,MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN BANDED PLENTY OF YEARS. THERE IS NO TRUTH TO THE PART THAT IT ONLY LASTS 5 YEARS.....THAT FORUM WILL FILL YOU IN ON ALL OF THE TRUE STUFF AS WELL AS THE FALSE STUFF. IT GETS MORE TRAFIC THEN THIS FORUM.....I HAVE THE REALIZE BAND AND I LUV IT.
