New to this forum, getting banded Dec.3

Hi. My name is Eydie and I am going to get the Realize band on December 3 in Edmonton Alberta.  I had planned to go to Arizona for a bypass in Octover, but due to some funding changes I have decided to go with the band.

Sounds as though most of you are pleased with the band and the results you are getting.  I am looking forward to joining you on the losers bench.

I have had my band since Sept 29th and have had no problems with it.  I have only lost 16 1/2 pounds but I am completely off my diabetes medicine and that was my # 1 hope.

Dec. 3rd is not too far away!

Welcome Eydie and congratulations. I have been banded since 8/22/08 and with meticulous dieting and daily (or almost daily) exercise I am doing great. I know that you too will do great and since you are getting WLS your commitment is there.
Keep on being positive and you will definitely see the results.
