Realize vs lapband

So I think I have decided to go with the Realize band.  Anybody wish they
went the other way?

Hey... we live pretty close to each other. I am in Longmont. I just got the Realize 6 days ago and loving every minute of it! In my opinion the port has a little different way of attaching so it is less likely to flip..

I'm trying to decide between the Realize band and the Lap Band. What made you choose Realize?

I noticed your surgeon is Dr. Michael Snyder. He's my surgeon too. I'm waiting for approval for my surgery so I have some time to decide which band.

STRUGGLING  with the same thing. I can't decide between them. On one hand I like that the Realize Band offers the online follow up and the comfort feel tube,but I am concerned about how the port stays mounted and doesn't come off without stitches. I also liked the preformed shape of the Lap Band. Does anybody know if the Realize Band contours the same way or if it stays oblonged? Please help. Looking like first week in December for the band due to insurance reasons.
