bad news

well i went this past mon. to have my pre opt test done, blood work, ekg, preregistered with hospital all that good stuff. tomorrow thursday, i had my appointment with the surgeon. well today at 5:00 the doctors office calls and tells me my app. for tomorrow has been cancelled.they had recieved my test results from monday and there was a problem with my ekg!! now i have to go see a heart speacialist before they can proceed with my surgery!! they made me an appointment for tuesday.i'm so upset. i've waited so long to get this surgery, now i'm so close to having it done, and because of this it may have to be postponed.

I know you are discouraged but things happen for a reason. Hang in there it will get better.

Hang in there!! This is exactly why they do all the tests, to make sure you're safe and healthy while you're in surgery! Just try to be patient! You're surgery will come sooner than you think!!!

Your doctor wants you in the best shape possible before surgery. They do not want any problems on tat day and neither do you. I think things happen for a reason. Your surgery will happen, it's just going to take you a little longer. Keep us posted!

Please have heart and faith. The saem thing happened to me and I am only 34 years old and seeming normal. They just want to make sure that everything is fine, The other lady on this board had bad EKG and they sent her to stress test immidiately, it turned out it was because she had big girls. My own PCP told me " if I were you i wouldn't lose sleep over it. Lots of women have abnormal EKG"
Although I remember i kept posting on this board an other board through the whole weekend and worrying myselkf sick\
