Realize Band surgery June 5k Blood Clot June 22

I just don't know what to do now.  My hematologist says the surgery did not cause the clot, it is someething in my blood.  But as it says with coumadin I have gained 4 pounds and the hematologist has told me not to exercise.  I just feel so down now.  I tried to do something good for me and now I am in worse shape than before the band.   Anyone else with similar problems?

how did they detect the clot, i know i got a shot of hepran i think and during surgery wore special stocking and had compresssion during surgery. All as preventive and then had too keep the stocking on for 25 hrs. But like u said could have been something else that caused it.
