Wow!! Congrats!!!! I hope your next delivery goes smoothly!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got pregnant mostly on purpose 6 months after my sleeve. I was just about down to my goal of a normal bmi and was having no issues with vitamins, fluids, or protein. It was a super easy and complication free pregnancy and delivery. Got pregnant again 2 years later and had an even easier pregnancy. Only difference was that I gained more weight this time, 32 lbs compared to the 18 I gained last time. My docs were never concerned about my wls effecting my pregnancy and treated me like a totally normal patient.
Our IT Team is working on adding the surgery procedure and surgery date so it appears on members' posts. Our IT Team will release it as soon as possible.
We want to thank all of you that let us know how important this is to our OH community.
I was pregnant 5 months and 19 months post op. Both unplanned but blessings nonetheless.
Just wondering how long after surgery that everyone ended up getting pregnant, whether it was planned or an accident.
I have a friend that got pregnant 6 months after surgery and the dr wasnt really worried about it, but they do recommend to wait 12-18 months post-op.
