my dr told me at least 12 mo. before trying to get pregnant. ive read on forums that once you do get pregnant make you you have a prenatal vit w/ folic acid and make an appt w/ a nutritionist. other than that i dont know what to tell you bc im only 1 mo. out and have no kids yet... hope this helps or hope you can find someone to giv eyou more info

So I'm 6 months post op and hubby and I want a baby. Hubby has arthritis so the medicine he was on was switched last week and will take 4 months to leave his system which will put me at 10 months. Doc says it'll be ok for us to start trying then.at this point I've lost 104 pounds since pre surgery liquid diet and hope to be at goal weight before we actually try.
So any suggestions? Any cautions? advice? Etc...
My prenatal is 38$ a bottle but lasts me a few months. i am only on my second bottle so i may have to get a 3rd one at the end. All the other vitimans i get at walmart so not sure the cost of each.
I have my gestasional Diabetes test today. I am not looking forward to that. Oh boy.
My sugar has dropped below 55 3 times in the last 1 1/2 weeks. I will talk to my doctor today at my appt. I may have to eat every hour. I have never had a low blood sugar before now.
I had a baby shower with my moms friends this weekend. Xander got lots of cool things and great books.

I was just curious to see if anyone here is pregnant after having a tubal ligation (the kind where they remove part of your tubes). I'm way late this month and I think it is time for a pee stick. Usually I am pretty consistent at 25 days. I doubt I am, but I was just wondering if it has happened to anyone else. I am almost 3 years since the ligation, but have recently started losing weight again.

I am also Pregnant Due May 3rd, 2016 I became pregnant almost 1 year after my surgery I had the surgery Aug. 18, 2014 I found out I was Pregnant Aug. 15th, 2015 Because I am 35 years old they did a blood test and was able to tell me the gender, granted the blood tests were other tests too I was shocked to hear that they can tel gender by blood tests now. I know you can usually find out the gender anytime after 16 weeks via ultrasound if they baby will let you see...lol I hope you all are doing great! I am having a Girl according to the test :) I was 40lbs to goal weight so I am not to worried about the weight gain because I am sure I can lose it after the baby is born :) Keep positive ladies

They told me to use bariatric advantage but the whole package is $140!!! How much are your vitamins if you don't mind my asking? That is awesome you are feeling him moving!!
Hmmm, will this take your diabetes back out of remission? I remember you talking about your insulin pump because of my researching and search on diabetes and insulin pump. How long were you diabetic?
