Make sure your labs are good before you try and that you take your vitamins everyday! Good luck and have fun trying!

Ever since my VSG march 2014,I've had constipation issues (I was the opposite pre surgery)
I've tried to remedy this with eating fiber rich foods and i always end up usually havingvto use miralax or duxlax twice a week.
I really want to know what you ladies s have tried to o help with your this pregnancy contipation. I
literally will try anything! Prunes are not helping . I just got a horrible belly ache.
I'm currently pregnant(very early. Almost 4 weeks) I suffered a miscarriage in August at 8 weeks. do have a five year old son. My heart!
My last lab tests were great. So I'm in no rush to see my obgyn. I went through hell last time. I'm waiting a bit now. If I call the office for advice they will just have me 'come in' I love my obgyn but its still a business and of course they want me to come in. I'm not ready yet. Maybe at 12 weeks.
So any advice on this problem i have is much appreciated
Thank you
Hello- I had the sleeve 1.5 years ago and was wondering if anyone experienced difficulty getting pregnant after the surgery when they had no trouble before it? Everything I read is about how people have the surgery to help get pregnant or that you are super fertile after the surgery and I'm not finding this to be the case at all. I have 4 kids and conceived all of them easily (1-2 months)- never had to chart or plan anything. Now that I 've had the surgery, I'm having difficulty. After the surgery, I went on birth control per my doctor for 1 year and I've been off of it since July. We were casually TTC July, August, September. October and November, we were actively TTC, using a fertility monitor, etc and nothing. I'm wondering if losing all the weight could have thrown my hormones off or if being on birth control (I haven't used birth control since college) could have thrown things off? Would love any insight you guys might have. Thanks
OMG, this past year has gone by so fast.I am so happy that I chose to have the surgery done. This past year has had its up and down but all worth it in the end. I did have a few small complication about 5 weeks post op. I ended up with a kidney stone, ulcer, and a restriction all at the same time (1st time for all of them). I was in and out of the hospital 9 days, which 5 of them I was admitted to the hosptil. I have come to love my self again and have the self confidence that I use to have. I think my friends enjoy spending more time with me now because I am not such a debbie downer. LOL.
I have my 1 year check up on the 16th and excited to see what the Doc thinks of my progress. When I went in for my 6 month check up I had lost 78% of my body weight, and my A1C was down to 5.3 from 10.0 at the start of my liquid diet. All my other labs came back great.
My biggest news is that I am 29 weeks prego!!! I am so excited because this is one of the reasons I had the surgery. I am having a little boy and I am due Feb 18,2016.
My nestting ha**** me full force this past weeked. I just need to get carpet down in babies room and the rest of the house will come together, since I have his stuff everywhere, which then messes up other rooms. I am a first time mom with 2 step kids 17 & 13 ( I have been in their lives for 10 years now). So I know a little, but nothing about babies.
OMG this is crazy, I cant wait to meet my little guy. Hubs is so excited as well. I have my next OB appt on the 15th and we will get to see him, and we are also doing the 3d ultrasound. I havent seen him since September since OB didnt put me as high risk. She is saying I havent gained enough weight, but I am doing what I can to make sure he is healthy.

CW 175 ( I made it down to 156 (100# mark) at my 7 month check in. So, the weight I gained is prego weight only.
I've recently bought great breastfeeding pillow at LaMillou. It has really cool shape of a Hen. Looks totally different than all the others I've seen before. In fact my 5 yo son sleeps on it from time to time you can find it at www.lamillou-us.com
Congratulations! Keep on program, just increase your calories. I didn't gain weight while pregnant (no worries, she was healthy), but I fell back into grazing habits, which naturally reduced the food/ liquids timing. so once she was out I gained between that and some anti-depressants for peri-natal depression.
Keep to your good habits.
Good luck!
Not preggo, it FINALLY came. I hate being irregular. I don't think Hubby would be impressed with another baby. I hope your wishes come true. We went many many years trying for another baby and had lost all hope.
Is IVF an option for you?
Are you pregnant? I've had a tubal and I'm sometimes late...last month I was a whole week late. I'm actually hoping to get my tubal reversed. We decided we wanted to try and have Another baby!
Actually you should start taking the prenatal vitamins with folic acid before you get pregnant. Make sure you are taking all your vitamins in general... an important time :)
