We are in the same boat. When I was pregnant with my son, I had all girls names ideas....and now with this pregnancy, I had boys names picked out, and it is a girl! I don't really care for the name I had picked out last time anymore so was back to square one. I actually did have a girls name I really liked picked out but hubby is not sold on it. With our son, he was not named until 2 days after he was born and ended up we picked a name that was not even on the radar before. We had the middle name after his Dad, just no 1st name. I think what complicates it more is that we want/will do an Arabic name, and also Muslim, which limits some choices and also want to try and have something people can pronounce, etc.... SIGH....thought this would be easier, LOL

We don't know what we are having yet...(hope to find out in 11 days when I have a 16 week US!)   But this time we are having a hard time coming up with ideas on either gender!!  Our son was pretty easy once we saw it!  Maybe when we can focus on one gender it will all click together!  Good Luck!  :)

aye, though we were strange possibly and had names picked out well in advance before i even conceived. there were special cir****tances surrounding it. my favorite uncle died this past year from cancer. if i had a boy, we agreed that part of his name would honor my uncle. according to the ultrasound i am, though how they got "boy" out of that ultrasound is beyond me. :) i guess it's why they're the techs and i'm just the oven :)

So has everyone picked the newest additions name?  My husband and I still can't decide on one...we think we have the middle name (same as mine or my mother's name) but man that first name is hard to come up with this time.  Last time it just clicked, we used my name Sta + j my husband name starts with and ended it with AH for Stajah....we have thought of a couple names, but nothing clicks yet....10 weeks or less and counting...baby might leave hospital as baby dorsey indecision

everyone tells me to concentrate on fluid and protein to the best of my ability. To eat small meals as it will help with the nausea because it will keep the blood sugar regulated. I had lost 15-20lbs at the begining and have picked up about 4-5 lbs back(mostly from making wrong decisions). As long as the baby is growing healthy most doctors wont say anything. I go for an anatomy ultrasound in 4 weeks. I have been doing a lot better the last week with my choices, now I just have to bring it home!

Good luck dear!!

P.S I found out I was pregnant at 11 months post op so I understand the nervousness. You only need 300 extra calories a day while pregnant so don't eat for 2!

I had the mirena and that is why I am currently 16 wks pregnant. Just about 1 year after I had it put in, it came out. I went to the bathroom one day and went to do my string check and they were right there not inside like they should have been. I pulled it out. Had no pain or bleeding, until I started my period for the 1st time the next day. I have read a lot about it after that and apparently its a pretty common thing. Good Luck!

I'm only 5 1/2 months post op and I'm 14 weeks pregnant.  It was definitely a huge surprise, but  we're excited.  I'm also extremely concerned about getting in enough nutrition for this baby.  I found out on December 24th and since then I've lost around 30 pounds since finding out.  My weight loss has slowed down by a lot, but I'm still losing.  I also have a hard time eating protein, drinking protein shakes, anything protein related usually makes me sick.  I eat a ton of cheese in hopes that will help, but I know I'm not getting enough.  My OB hasn't really seemed concerned yet, but I have a feeling I'll be getting more growth scans when I hit 20 weeks.  Good luck, I know that it's difficult and scary.
