At what week are they doing your Csection...the way the dr. was talking that it will probably be the following week after my appoint (so I would be between 37-38 weeks).... Just curious. My last pregnancy I had at 38 week, it just makes me nervous that I will go into labor before they schedule it then I will be in emergency CSection....and my last baby didn't take to long to make her appearance after I was in labor....little nerve racking....

I had port pain DURING the pregnancy but not after. I would go get it checked out. Does it feel like it's in place? I can palpate mine and feel the circle and all. Mine didn't move but the tubing came undone either with the pregnancy or all the surgeries I had afterwards. I wish I had been more proactive from the beginning. I fought so hard to loose the weight and then let a bunch slide back on because I didn't realize I wasn't keeping the saline in from the leak.

I can't tell you if she will move or not but I can empathize--I'm 36 1/2 weeks and my baby is transverse or head up as well! I had 2 previous c-sections so OB is planning a c-section as well so he's not concerned about doing anything--and she has been this way the whole time!
I actually am not a lapband patient, I had lap RNY but I would think with how big the baby is that you would definitely have port pain.
Hey Ladies, I went for my appointment on Friday and because the dr didn't feel a head low, she did a quick ultrasound. The baby at the beginning of March was transverse with head on right. On Friday's appointment, still very high and transverse but the baby's head on my left side, her butt is touching my right ribs....So at my appointment in 2 weeks they are going to decide what to do; they don't believe an inversion is really an option because my stomach is so tight around the baby due to my tummy tuck 4 years ago. Guess I thought this lil mama would be head down by now. My last baby was always head down, although she was high until day of delivery, she never was breech or transverse, so this is a first for me.
So to my question....anyone had a baby go transverse to head down this late in the game? Anyone with tummy tuck ever have this issue? I am just wondering if this baby's a little bigger and just can't seem to get around in the tight belly...
Any thoughts out there? Experiences? Love to hear them.

I'm 36 1/2 weeks along and have gained 38 lbs--if you have maintained healthy eating habits it shouldn't be a big deal to take off the pregnancy weight! That's what I am counting on!
I hope all of you ladies are doing well!
I had RNY so maybe not the best person to answer your question, but I did think the same as you, that maybe the port has become displaced. With the baby growing and moving around, kicking, delivery, etc it would seem likely. Are you able to schedule an appt with your surgeon or a gastro doc to have it checked out?
Thank You. It was certainly scary. I am taking it easy and happy to say that my foot looks almost normal again compared to the elephant hoof I had earlier in the week.
