Oh Honey I am so sorry you are going through this. You know that saying "If you want to hear God laugh, Just tell him your plans." I just wanted to send best wishes to you, I have a friend who became pregnant 4 months after her GB and her baby is perfect and everything went fine.
Hang in there :)

Hi, I have had this pain on and off during my pregnancy i am 24 weeks. This pain is nothing major. It is a build up of gas and because our food does not digest like everyone else does. Our babies have made things move around in our stomachs which is cause this i have learned to eat less but eat more often and i know it seems weird but get up and walk around in the middle of food if you can . eat every 2 hours
I had my surgery on September 19th this past year and I got pregnant 2 months later. I'm currently 24 weeks. I only have one child so I don't have near the stress you do with having 5 already. But as for the weight loss and nutrition I don't know much. I have lost a total of 116 pounds or so since my surgery, but I stopped losing I think around the first of March. I've been floating around the same three pounds up and down since then. My baby is growing just like she should so far. All of my labs have come back good so far and the doctor doesn't seem concerned at all. I still worry constantly that she's not getting enough nutrition in, but she's growing and super active, so something must be going right. I wish you all the luck, because it is stressful.
my water never actually broke!! they had to break it after 12 hours of labor.
it sounds like this might be it! are you feeling any contractions?
So I had surgery 2/12. Starting in January my periods started coming every 36-37 days instead of every 31 like they used to. But I had an IUD in place, so no worries. I chalked it up to the pre-surgery weight loss and the stress of impending surgery. Then at the end of March, I noticed my IUD was missing! My GYN did an ultrasound to confirm and said it could have 1. "Slipped out" or 2.MIGRATED INTO MY ABDOMEN!! X-Ray needed!
I had a CT scan scheduled for a follow-up from when I HAD cancer, so they said to minimize radiation I could just get the CT done, even if the Paragard had went floating through my body it was NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT???
So my S.O started using the withdraw method. Since my periods had become 37 days long cycles, I expected it around the 25th of April. So I should have O'ed around the 10th. On the 18th, S.O and I figured it was "safe" not to pull out since my ovulation should have been well over. Well, the 25th has come and gone. So on the 26th I tested with an Equate. LIGHT second blue line. Waited until the next morning. Tested with the second Equate. ANOTHER light blue line. Ran out to the store and bought a Clearblue +... a light blue plus sign!!!!
Blue dye tests get a bad rap for false positives (evaps), even when the results come up right away... so I'm not 100%, although having been pregnant 6 times before, (I have 5 children already)... I am starting to believe I am (although very early yet).
I am FREAKING OUT! I already have FIVE CHILDREN and my youngest JUST turned 2!! Three of them aren't even 5 yet! For one, I am seriously peeved at the IUD... how, after more than a year, does it just "disappear"?? Why would I have ovulated sooooo freaking late in my cycle? AND WHY, for the LOVE OF GOD, would my body think NOW was a good time???
Pregnancy this soon after surgery... so many fears! Nutrition, continued weight loss, that new gym membership...
Blood work tomorrow to confirm yes or ease my fears... but I think it's going to just be confirming. Three tests are unlikely to be wrong, right? Has anyone else been here this soon after surgery?
Congrats on the pregnancy. I am 11 weeks pregnant and having terrible stomach pain too. Mine also follows eating. It is so beyond uncomfortable! After internet searches and speaking with my MD, I have learned it can relatively common. I am now taking tums and zantac. The MD reccomended small snacks every 1-2 hours versus eating any type of larger meals. Good luck and hope everything turns out wonderful for you!
