after getting pregnant they swapped me over to a prescription prenatal called B-Nexa that has ginger in it that helped combat morning sickness early on, had higher folic acid, etc.
weight can affect your ability to conceive but i know a bunch of overweight women who conceived without issue. myself i've always been irregular because of PCOS but i knew that going into this. my weight didn't help any but i've been irregular all my life and still needed fertility assistance to ovulate and get pregnant. 30 weeks presently. not sure if that's what you're asking. the take away is that while being overweight can hinder the process, it doesn't typically make you infertile unless there's another underlying issue that hasn't been found by your doctors.
Congrats!!!! I am 25. I am a nervous wreak though. I stress about everything...I am too paranoid to cough. lol. We need to keep up with each other! How did you choose your Gyno?
I'm pregnant as well with my first, due Dec 25. I had RNY in August of 2011, so our situations are similar. I, too, have no idea what I'm doing, lol. But I know I'm high risk, as I'll be 40 next month.

Hello!!!!
I just found out I am 4 weeks pregnant. I had gastric bypass Nov 28, 2011. So its been about a year and a half. My due date is Jan 2, 2014 (maybe a new years baby)
I am looking into gynos now but I was wondering if there was anything in particular I should look for or ask? I dont think haveing WLS makes you high risk but I am not sure...anyone due around the same time?
I have no idea what I am doing! lol.
Sidenote...I have been with my fiance for 4 1/2 years. We were getting married May 2014 but I guess we have to push that up.
Has anybody had irregular menstrual cycles, had the surgery and gotten pregnant? I haven't been diagnosed with anything except being overweight so I haven't been able to conceive. So I'm wondering if anyone else had the same thing and end up pregnant after surgery??
Prenatals, Vit D (perscription- they will check typically at first appointment); iron, low iron here...

Same chewables as pre-pregnancy--levels stayed good thru pregnancy we just doubled my iron when it dropped the 2nd trimester (which is a normal time in pregnancy for it to drop).
Hi know this question may have been asked a million times and I tried looking it up before asking but I would like to know from you all were vitamins are u taking while being pregnant
