I am bf and I too have issues with a low supply. I do think mine boils down to not drinking enough, because days when I do really well with the water intake (and I mean WAY more water than I am used to) I don't have supply issues. I also used fenugreek and blessed thistle, as well as mothers milk.
I have a 2 month old baby and went from a weight of 152 to 214 (the day I was admitted into the hospital to have her). I'm now at 182. I didn't exercise when I was pregnant and pretty much ate whatever I wanted. I breastfeed (still don't workout), and I have pretty much the same sense of fullness when I eat as I did before. I know if I commit myself to sticking to my diet and incorporate exercise I'll be back at where I was. I was very worried while pregnant that I ruined my sleeve! You just have to really want it so you'll stick with your plan. I know when I feel like I should lose weight but my whole heart isn't in it I don't lose weight
I was using this and my periods became regular again. I tried met for min beforehand and hated it. Between the ortho and weight loss I normalized, but managed to get pregnant on the ortho! I now have a 2 month old bouncing baby girl and a Nexplanon implant ?

I took tri cyclen for years, and I found it hit me much harder than the lower-hormone options. I was super grumpy for months after I started!
If you're just now going low-carb, you're probably grumpy from the carb detox, that doesn't help much either :(

starting birth control for the first time since 2011. i said i would never get on it anymore. but i have so many ovarian cysts blocking my ovaries and causing so many side effects. dr. refused to put me on metformin bc she said it would make no effect on my cycle or hormones, at most help me lose weight. so back on birth control for 3 months and hopefully that will clear it everything up. she said after 3 months she will put me on a low dose of chlomid so assure i ovulate.
you know at this moment i don't wanna get pregnant. i'm so tired right now. i started a low carb high fat diet to get my sugars down and my pcos under control. a week into that i started ortho tri cyclen. never taken this kind before. but let me tell you, one week in and i have severe fatigue, moodiness, sadness, no motivation, nausea, loss of apetite. i HATE feeling this way!!!!
has anyone taken ortho before? is this normal? is it bc i haven't been on birth control in like 5yrs and my body needs to adjust?? really hope this is temporary bc i feel like a total failure feeling this way.
That Mother's Milk tea is the best thing ever. I didn't have any issued with my son (no WLS then) but I took some just in case, and one night I kindda brewed some lactation tea instead of the chamomile I meant to brew, and the engorgement and leaking that night were UNREAL. I ended up walking towards the sink and trying to get rid of some cause I couldn't even sleep, it was so painful. lol So give it a try if you haven't!
Hey! If it helps you feel any better, when I got pregnant with my son I had been dieting and exercise to lose weight (which I was actually succeeding at) and I continued to lose weight for the first 2 months of pregnancy and I hadn't had any king of WLS! But then it stopped and I started to gain some weight. i gained like 35 lbs or so (could have been a little less since I was overweight) but it was still a decent amount. I am only in this forum readingthis stuff cause I know I want to have at least one more child after my WLS so I am learning as much as I can about what to expect. I hope you have a great and healthy pregnancy :)!!!

Hi , it's different for everyone. I got pregnant after 3 years post op sleeve and tummy tuck. My daughter just turned 2 and still I'm struggling to lose this baby weight!!! It's so frustrating but make sure you stay within your ob guidelines with diet and nutrition. For me I gained too much being I was high risk and bed rest for 4 months of my pregnancy, I didn't care about weight all I wanted was a healthy baby.
Good luck to you
