8 yrs post op/40 yrs old & pregnant

im 8 yrs post op, 6 wks pregnant. I've been spotting in and off daily. Dr did an ultrasound and said everything is going as it should and said he isn't sure why I am spotting. Again reassured me everything was good. Has anyone else had this spotting issue post roux en y? Prior to surgery my 2 prengancy's went great and no weird issues. With this one it baffles me and has me wondering if my surgery has something to do with the weird spotting. Any input is great.

Hey, I am still pre-op - however during my pregnancy with my daughter I had A LOT of spotting - actually thought I had my period (but found out shortly after I was pregnant) My spotting lasted off and on for the first 12 weeks. I have a healthy, vibrant 2 year old.
