Hello all,

My name is Jill. VSG on 3/25. Down 93 lbs... kinda stuck there, but im pregnant, made it almost to a year before i got pregnant so im happy. I am thrilled as my main reason for vsg was to get pregant as my son is almost 5 and I want another so bad.

Anyone have any advice for a post op preggo with keeping my weight stable...

Well I'm a bit late on the reply, but congrats! I was in a similar spot where I wanted to lose weight to get pregnant as well :)

Most important thing is to check in with your surgeon ASAP as far as nutritional guidelines, especially if you're having morning sickness. I was maintaining on 1200 cal/day and they advised me up to 1800. I started eating carbs when I had terrible nausea in the first tri and peanut butter crackers were all I could keep down-- 4 months after baby was born, I'm STILL having trouble busting the habit.

You can do it!
