anyone ever have a vaginal sling done before getting pregnant?

This is a really weird question, but since there are many on this board I'm hoping maybe one other person has had this done.  9 and 10 years ago I had a vaginal sling procedure done for what they thought was stress incontinence.  That was 5 years before gastric bypass (so I'm even wondering with the 130lb loss I had if its even working anyways).... well now I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I have two OBs (including the high risk dr I saw today) tell me I'm going to have to have a C-section because of the vaginal sling. I'm ok with having a C-section if its medically necessary to save mine or the baby's life, but don't agree with automatically scheduling one.  I have had horrible times with recovery after various surgeries, etc.....

Hoping someone on here has some advice.
