General pregnancy question

First time pregnant lady here! I'm 5 weeks 3 days and have no idea if what I'm feeling is normal.
I have mild cramping that is not constant -no bleeding. Yesterday I had aches under my left rib and today I felt about 3 sharp stabs in my uterus. Is this apart of normal first trimester aches and pains or should I be worried?

Mild menstrual-like cramping is normal as long as it's not really bad or accompanied by bleeding. I would ask your doctor about the sharp stabbing pains and the aches under your ribs, though.

As previously stated the cramping very normal..because its just your body adjusting to having a little one growing...the stabbing just check wiith your Dr on that..and also the aches under your ribs is called ligament pain..which usually happens at night when ut layinh down and turnng in your sleep.

Yay! I am 5 weeks 6 days today. I have had mild cramping on and off no spotting so I figured it is normal. I had a loss in July so every little thing I feel i keep track of. No morning sickness for me yet and I am counting my lucky starts and trying not to worry until my 8 week appt.
