Still scared. can't keep much down, diclectin puts me to sleep...I need to be alert, I'm a nurse and have lives in my hands. Wondering if anyone else has been there and what was the outcome Any advice? Also I've had 4 miscarrages and1 infant loss....she was a premi. We have no children and I'm scared.

I am 10 weeks as well but I am 2 years post op. I have been lucky not much morning sickness though. I realy hope everything goes well for you this time. I will be praying for a good out come. The best advise anybody can get I think is just eat well go to your doctor appointments and try not to worry. I know its hard not to worry when you have been through so much but just keep you self busy with something so your mind doesn't have time to wonder and dwell on what might happen. I will be praying.

Sending you prayers for a happy healthy baby this time around!  So sorry you've had to experience so much loss, no one should have to go through all of that.  Can't wait to read a post about holding a healthy full term baby in your arms!

I was around 9 mos out when I found out I was pregnant (I have an 11yr old and pretty much have up on more kids few years ago) anyway I was 8.5 wks along according to us now I'm 22 wks tomorrow. I had severe morning sickness all day sickness actually until week 13. It finally went away and now only have a bad day once in awhile. I make sure to take all my vits and supplements as I was really deficient about 6 wks ago on several labs. Eating is hard some days cause half time nothing sounds good and when I do eat something I get full fast. My ob is experienced in patients after bariatric surgery plus my surgeon sees me on reg basis plus my diabetes nurse (I'm diet controlled since surgery and doing very well so far with it staying normal) plus I have a prenatal dietician and all of them correspond so I ge****ched more closely than with my previous pregnancy way back when. Don't stress and relax an do what they ask of you the best you can. Baby will get what it needs from us no matter what we just have to take care of ourselves to keep healthy. Good luck
