Hi!  Fellow DSer here.  Both of my babies measured about 2 weeks behind.  I delivered a 6 lb 11 oz (came 2 weeks early) and a 6 lb 2 oz (came on due date), 2 girls, 2 different pregnancies.  They were both totally fine.  I also didn't really gain much, but I expected this.  I think with each, I gained a total of 15 lbs.  Within a few weeks of delivery, I was down about 30.  I just made sure to constantly nibble.  I also allowed myself to have carbs, which is what your body needs to stay out of ketosis.  I had my lab work done every 2 months and I actually had to get iron infusions.  I also consulted with Vitalady as far as my labs went.  The babies took what they needed first, which left me a bit exhausted.  Overall, I had really great pregnancies and entirely natural (no meds) births.  My second baby, we checked out within 12 hours of her birth.  My favorite protein, is NOW whey protein isolate, unflavored.  This didn't make me feel sick and I could add my own flavors and sweeteners.

Im 2 years postop vsg. Im currently 24 weeks pregnant, and suffering from a kink (due to baby girl crowding my sleeve)... Making me vomit most solid foods. I do ok with some softer foods, and protein drinks, but usually take in about 300-500 cal per day.  I am currently about 5lbs from my pre pregnancy weight... I had dropped 9lbs from morning sickness, then regained back almost to my pre preg weight... Ten dropped 5lbs in last few weeks.

doctors assure me she is a very efficient little parasite and will digest my muscles and suck calcium from my bones if needed. LOL. They encourage me to get my vitamins and protein, do the best i can, and monitor her closely with growth scans. At 28 weeks i will begin twice weekly stress testing, and every 2 week growth scans. S far, she is doing well, but had dropped off the curve some. (She is still in average range for now, as i have measured ahead all this time).

(((hugs)))  mama, hang in there!

Hi Smardeepants, just want to find out how you and baby are doing?  My twins were born at 35weeks weighing 3lbs.  Very small and spent 3 weeks in NICU, but thankfully all is ok with them! :)
