Sharing Baby Shower Pics...

Yesterday was my baby shower and it was a great time. The theme was lovebirds with the colors pink and green and it turned out so sweet. I was 35 weeks yesterday so stressed that I would not feel good, or possibly not even make it, to shower day, but it went well. Super cute outfits were the main gift and I am so in love with them all....girls are definitely different than little boys!

silly question are baby showers typically done late like this? just asking because my mother in law planned mine and it's next month and i'll be roughly 35 weeks myself. i always thought they were done earlier. maybe they were in the past? granted i don't have any examples to go by really because i'm the first of my friends to be having a baby.

Thanks for the compliments! I hated to cut the cake too but it was delicious. In my experience it seems most showers are planned anywhere I think between the 7th month onward, some sooner, some later, depending on when/if couples find out the sex too. I did not have one with my 1st and we instead had an event after the baby was born as is the  tradition in our culture/faith. Based on everyone's schedule, location availabililty, etc was why this one was when it was. I was nervous I might not make it but did. My son was born at 37 weeks so not sure when this little lady will come. I really think it is up to you and the hostess to try and coordinate, and assuming it is not a surprise. You want to feel well enough to attend the shower and also have some time for after to go through everything and get any last minute items you may or may not get.

My showers were all done that late----my church shower (a surprise one) was suppose to be when I was beyond 36 weeks but had to be cancelled due to a funeral ---and is now a Welcome shower since Alyssa is here!

I am having two showers one here for friends and one four hours away for family the one here is on the 26 and I will be almost 34 weeks and the one four hours away I will be 36 weeks the one four hours away I am anxious about because I have to drive to it and my friend or my mom that will be coming with me don't have their lisence so should be interesting
