Stomach Pain

Good Evening Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well with their pregnancy. I had my gastric by-pass in May of 2010 and have since become pregnant (currently 23 weeks).

I was wondering if anyone has had pain in their stomach right after they ate? It aches and hurts and I feel awful.

 If I put light pressure on my stomach it hurts. The pain and uncomfortable feeling lasts for quite awhile. Looking forward to hearing any suggestions on how to relieve the pain or what it possibly could be. It is going to take me a week or two to get into the Gastric By Pass Clinic and Tuesday to see my family doctor. I have had this for a couple of days. I thought I was getting a flu bug or something.Thank you,

I had that intermittently thru my pregnancy--I think it was gas pain because TUMS or gas-x seemed to help with it

Congrats on the pregnancy. I am 11 weeks pregnant and having terrible stomach pain too. Mine also follows eating. It is so beyond uncomfortable! After internet searches and speaking with my MD, I have learned it can relatively common. I am now taking tums and zantac. The MD reccomended small snacks every 1-2 hours versus eating any type of larger meals. Good luck and hope everything turns out wonderful for you!

Hi, I have had this pain on and off during my pregnancy  i am  24 weeks. This  pain is nothing major. It is  a build up of  gas and  because our food  does not digest like everyone else does. Our babies  have made things  move around in our stomachs which is cause this i have learned to eat  less but eat more often  and i know it seems weird but  get up  and walk around in the middle of  food if  you can . eat every 2 hours
