Hi everyone. I hope everyone is doing  great. I am  22 weeks pregnant at the moment. I just found out that i am  having a little girl. I am  getting married next month  on the  25th  in  Vegas. My question is  I am taking a plane to Vegas from Washington  state is there  anything i should be looking out for  or is there something i   should be taking  with me to be more  comfortable on the plane. please give me  some advice to ease my mind. thank you

Not to scare you, but to be honest....here is my story. I have flown twice while pregnant. The first time at about 18 weeks, 3 hr flight, no issues. I recently took a business trip for the 2nd flight.I was 30 weeks and had the approval of my OB. It was a 1.5 flight on a corporate jet so lots of room, etc. Nonetheless, I still ended up developing a blood clot in my left leg/foot. It was a scary situation. It can happen to anyone, but while pregnant, the risk is higher. The main thing while flying is to try to get up and move as much, and as often as you can, stretch/massage your legs/lower extremities, stay hydrated, etc. If you notice signs such as swelling/pain limited to one side, redness, fever, high blood pressure, headache, etc notify your doctor/OB immediately. I also was required to have a medical release/note to fly. Not all airlines/pilots require but better to be safe than sorr.

When I was pregnant with son in 2006 I flew to Las Vegas at 6 1/2 months pregnant.  I had no issues at all, besides being freaked out ( my first time flying).
