Roman :)

Had Ultrasound last week 31 weeks Roman is Head down and Weighs a little over 4 lbs and Is in the 95% for his height!. Im also 2 centimeters Dilated Cervix is still closed though which is good bc I still have about 7 weeks left... Just wanted to share :)

Day of my Baby shower :)

Just curious was there a reason for an ultrasound at 31 weeks??  I'm 34 weeks and no ultrsound since 20 weeks and my OB still hasn't done an internal exam or measured my belly so I have no idea how big my baby is or if anything is going on--but I sure am having lots of braxton hicks contractions! 

I too only have two u.s. initial and anatomy.  They didn't start checking me until 36wks which i then delivered 2 days later.

I actually had my 2nd at 34 weeks exactly!! But was a c-section due to my blood pressure spiking and heading into pre-eclampsia symptoms--had pre-eclampsia with my 1st--but that was pre op and this pregnancy my b/p has been GREAT!

I asked my Ob If she would give me an ultrasound to see if the baby was on track with growth bc I had the Rny I just wanted to be sure he was growing right :)  I too have been having contractions like crazy sometimes Ill have them in my back for a few hours and they hurt really bad.. but then Ill take some tylenol and go to sleep and theyll be gone. but Im Dilated and I think that the baby has dropped already bc when he moves It feels like hes busting through " Down There" lol

I am going to have an ultrasound at 36 weeks to check size since we are uncertain of my dates and my  boys were both large and I am a scheduled c-section due to age and having 2 previous c-sections.  Currently scheduled for c-section at 39 weeks but neither OB nor I think I will make it that long--I have an apt Weds this week, 35 weeks assume will start internal exams this week.

I only had an internal exam because I was sent to L&D to be monitored because I was having contractions

My first baby I had ultrasounds all the time, this go around, I had the initial (10 wks) one, the 20 week ultrasound and one 3D which I did outside dr. office.  My dr. says everything is going well no need for one; however, we are considering one after next appt (I will be 35 weeks then) because my baby is not even thinking about being head down and is way up on my right side....if still there, she said they will consider one to look at her position, if she turns, we will just keep going.  My understanding is this is the norm, my first was an exception....
