Hi, Just an update. I had my cerclage took out yesterday and then had a ultrasound. The doctor said my baby boy is at 7 pounds already. I was just wondering if anyone else's baby is measuring this big at 36 weeks. The doctor said I could go into labor anytime. Everything is going fine and I thank God everyday for his blessings and answered prayers. I lost my first baby at 20 weeks ( tried 2 yrs & got preg with Clomid ) and then at 21 weeks ( tried 1 yr & used Clomid again) I lost twins due to IC. This pregnancy ( tried 2 months no fertility medicine this time  ) I had a cerclage put in at 15 weeks. I have gained 36 pounds. I had gastric bypass in September 2011. I lost 150 pounds and done great with it. It was a great decision and I am glad I had it done. I hope all of you ttc have great success and to the ones thats pregnant good luck & thank God for your miracle. God Bless you all.

    God is good!!!

I delivered an almost 7 lb baby at 34 weeks, so yes my kids measured big.  My 1st was born at 37 weeks and 8lbs.  I'm only 29 weeks this pregnancy so don't know how big she is yet.

I delivered my first at 35wk and she was 6lbs9oz so yes very possible.  At 20wks baby measured big so i had to do US and extra glucose testing which all came back fine.  OB consulted with neonatalogy to ensure she was missing anything and they decided that I am just one of those lucky people who would give birth to toddlers.  The longest i carried was 37wk and delivered an 8lb little monkey.  Don't worry all will be fine and GOOD LUCK!!!!

Ultrasounds predicted my daughter would be "well over 9lbs if I went to 40 weeks"... She was barely 6 lbs at 41 weeks, lol.  There is quite the margin of error with ultrasound measurements, I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

I'm like Paula. U/S measured my kids to be muuuuuch bigger than they were. I was told at 34 weeks my son was 5lb3oz and he was born at 39w3d only 5lb15oz so I'm sure the u/s was off. The day before my daughter was born I was told she was 7lb10oz and she was only 5lb9oz when she came out the next day! The measurements can definitely be off, but it's also possible that they're spot on.

That is a nice size baby lady!!! We are so close, I'm 37 weeks and 3 days today I don't know about you but I am SOOOO ready for this pregnancy to be over so I can hold my babies already!! I go in Thursday for them to be measured again but at the last measurement 3 weeks ago they were 4lbs 6oz and 4lbs 8oz so I am hoping that they are at least 6 pounds each now! Also considering I have gained 43 pounds!!! OMG I was doing so well keeping my weight gain in check and then now towards the end I have just packed on all the pounds!!. .lol. But its totally worth it. Good luck, keep a phone by you at all times just in case. . .And keep us updated I wanna see pics!
