he's a happy baby. he's smiling now. soooo cute. after doing mostly formula my milk started drying up. so now i'm determined to bring it back. been taking lots of stuff thats supposed to help. everything you can think of. and i'm trying to get him to suck  as much as i can between formula feedings. little by little its coming back.

he's sleeping like 4-5 hours at night which is awesome. he's getting cuter by the day. i'm so happy.

hugs to everyone expecting and double hugs to those TTC!

Such a cutie!  Amazing how quickly it goes!  I can't believe my "baby" is running around the house already and my oldest already thinks she's a teenager (she's 4), crazy!

As for the milk supply, here's my two cents...  Have him nurse before giving him formula so he is really hungry and sucking to eat, not just soothe, our bodies can tell the difference.  If you have a few days when you're not doing anything, an all day nursing fest is a great way to boost your supply.  Just give him breast milk for a few days.  He'll cry to eat VERY often because he is not filling up on formula, but it will really bump up your supply.  During these few days, try to resist giving him formula unless he is really upset.  Basically plan on having him suckling all day.  It makes for a hard few days, but it will really boost your supply.  Also, if you can handle it, drink a beer, something about the hops creates an instant boost in supply.  Good luck, you're doing an awesome job!

What a great little smile! Glad Benji is doing better. Hope you're able to get your supply back. I'm taking Reglan right now to boost my supply and it's working. Be sure to offer him breast first at every feeding. Comfort nursing is great, but your breasts need to be emptied in order to be signaled to make more milk.
