I'm very nervous. I have lost 96 lbs and down to 254 lb which is still very overweight. I am very afraid that if I am pregnant, I wont be able to give the baby proper nutrition and also that I would regain my weight. Help, advice please. Thanks. Also feel free to PM me, I truly appreciate it

I got pregnant only 5.5 mos post op. Not only did I have a very healthy (small, but healthy) baby boy, I was 25 lbs lighter on the day I delivered than when I got pregnant.

If you are pregnant, don't worry. You are still healthier now than you were before surgery even though you are still overweight. Nutrition will be difficult but it is doable. Be religious with your vitamins and water, add carbs (baby needs them for brain development), and don't count calories or try to diet while you're pregnant. Your tool will still be with you after baby is born. You have to change your priorities to focus on baby until you've delivered. Any weight that is gained will come off after delivery as well. Good luck!
