Anyone ever...? (TMI)
I just tried to write this post and somehow I lost the whole thing...so I hope I can get it right this time! LOL! To start, I just found out I am pregnant again (about 4/5 weeks) after having a miscarriage at the end of Oct. I was about 6/6 1/2 weeks and never had a period between the miscarriage and getting this Positive test! So with that information, I have two questions! First, starting just a day or two ago, I have had extreme itching! My back, arms, legs, scalp, neck...everything ITCHES! I do have allergies normally and I get allergy shots and take meds for it. I have not had this kind of itching with those though! I did take some meds for it the other day and it helped a little, but I don't want to take anything if I don't have to! Has anyone else ever have this kind of itching this early in pregnancy? What helped and did it go away? Any suggestions? Any idea what could be causing the itches? Second, (Sorry-TMI) I have had some leaking of my nipples. Like I said above, I am only 4/5 weeks...has anyone ever had that happen this early? It's not leaking on its own...like into my bra or anything, only if I squeeze them a little. My breast are very tender and sore. (The reason I tested since for me, that is a telltale sign I am pregnant!) Is this something that is/can be normal this early or is it a sign of something not right going on that needs to be checked? Of course I will be asking my Dr. when I see her, but thought I would throw it out there if anyone has any advice or has experienced either of these! Thanks a bunch for any advice!

well i'm told skin changes are very common in pregnancy. i have certain areas that are extremely itchy and have been since getting pregnant but never beforehand. there's a strip on my lower my lower back, my left front lower leg and only the left side of my stomach. strange i know. my doctor assures me it's nothing but my skin getting changing me from the pregnancy. she has me use a heavy duty lotion on those areas to help control the itching, which does help. i never had a problem with that before my nine month passenger. ;) as for leaking breasts, i can't say that i've experienced that, granted my breasts have grown almost three cup sizes, so i tend to avoid my nipples that are extremely sore. even brushing up against them makes me want to cry, which is darned near all the time since i have a pair of rockets sticking out from my chest that weren't there three months ago. i haven't given them a squeeze, simply because of the pain that would be involved.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I just wasn't sure if that much itching was normal, or something I should worry about! I think it's just my allergies...and my body being extra sensitive these days! My breasts are tender and sore...they feel full...my husband can tell they are full (Even though he doesn't know I am pregnant yet!). (Merry Christmas to him! :) So glad I finally get to tell him! My 4 year old is the only one that knows right now and it's killing me!! LOL!) The only reason I knew they leaked a little is because I have these little bumps on the nipple that I check (Per Dr's orders) and noticed a tiny wet dot...so I checked that out also! It only does it if I squeeze it a little. I know it can be normal closer to delivery, but wasn't sure if it was this early on! Thanks for sharing your experience! I didn't have these issues when I was pregnant with my son! Can't wait to tell DH! :)

I just saw on your profile that your mom has Lupus...my mom has it also...and I have just recently have been diagnosed with Lupus and Mixed Connective Tissue Disease!
So sorry to hear that and I hope she has it under control! It is a terrible thing to have to deal/live with! Hope she finds relief and encouragement one day at a time!Becca -9/2007-10/2012 (Forever in our !)
