Update - 7 1/2 months - long & pic heavy
I don't come on here often but once in a while to check in on a few people. I thought I'd update in case anyone was wondering how things were. I'm on facebook mostly so if you want to friend me, let me know.
Candice is about 7 1/2 months now and is doing great. She was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia but has outgrown that and her hip looks perfect now! She is the happiest little baby of all of my girls. Very easy going and you can make her smile always, no matter how tired or hungry she is. She loves her baby food, is starting to use her sippy cup by herself, sits up great, and is almost ready to crawl (oh no!). She is my last one so I am trying to enjoy every little "last" baby moment I can.
My family has had some tough times recently as my oldest daughter was hospitalized for a month. She had stopped eating and at first we thought something was wrong with her throat or esophagus, but testing ruled that out. She went from being quite overweight at 95 lbs to 78 lbs in 6 weeks. Turned out to be an eating disorder. My 6 year old has a rare eating disorder called food phobia and luckily a clinic in my state is the only one in the entire US that treats that particular eating disorder in children. It was a tough month, but I had my two youngest girls with me and were very grateful to stay at the Ronald McDonald House during her hospitalization. I am happy to say that treatment finally worked and she is eating now.
It's so nice to be home and have my family back together again. I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday!
Here are some pictures!
