2nd Trimester

So tomorrow marks 15 weeks and now that I am in the 2nd trimester I do feel a little better. The morning sickness and fainting episodes are getting better. Still have some issues with reactive hypoglycemia so trying to make sure I have a snack and a drink with me at all times to help with that. Kind of hard to manage work, family life, and my 5 year old, but we are managing.

I still don't show any weight gain and am wearing my regular jeans and clothes although my "skinny" jeans may only last a while longer. I did buy one pair of maternity jeans but did not like them so will wait until I have a chance to go and get the ones I had last time. I had luck with Motherhood Maternity and Gap. I am tall, 5 ft 9, and so getting a good fit is hard sometimes. I will have to invest in work clothes too so trying to avoid un-neccessary expenses as long as I can. I can't wait until January when we can find out the sex.  I would love a girl but am blessed either way.

I have an appointment on 12-31-12 so hopefully that will go well.

Anyhow, that's my update.

That is great I have never heard of anyone not gaining any weight by 15 week. I am 5' 9" as well so I know what you mean about finding a good fit but when I was pregnant I was able to find some nice maternity pants at K-mart if that helps any. I hope you get your healthy baby girl I know how bad I want a girl my next go around lol but either way they are a blessing.

I honestly think I lost weight in the beginning because of morning sickness and then maybe gained back to my pre-pregnancy weight but can't be sure. I was working out quite a bit when I found out I was pregnant too. Unfortunately, we don't have a Kmart in my town but we do have Target, so I may try there. thanks for the advice.

Congrats, it sounds like your doing great! I remember how badly I wanted to find out the sex of my twins I couldn't wait!!! I really really wanted a girl and a boy, they are two boyskiss. . .but thats ok I already have my girly girl.  I went to Target to get most of my maternity clothes, I was working up until a month ago and I used their black dress pants they were so comfortable, a good fit and a great price. . . try them out.

A boy and a girl would have been perfect, one of each. But like you said, blessings all the same. I like Target and they usually have good deals both in the store and online and there is a SuperTarget right up the street from my house so will check them out. I will keep the dress pants in mind...I have to dress business casual/professional on some days but also have the options for jeans too so that will help. Lucky for me it will be spring time when I am in my third trimester so I plan on breaking my Maxi Dresses out for sure.
